Safety and compliance are at the core of everything we do. We’re Certifire-accredited to manufacture fire doors and FIRAS-accredited to install them, so every door we make and fit is 100% compliant, verified by a UKAS-accredited third party.
Our fire door area is a dedicated, controlled zone, with seals stored flat and production worksheets, non-conformity reports and final inspection records kept for every door. Our bench joiners also complete BWF Introduction to Fire Doors training and manufacturer component training.

The golden thread
Every door, traceable from survey to certificate
The Building Safety Act demands a golden thread of information. Our FIRAS-accredited supervisor manages every timber fire door installation with Bolster, so you get a complete digital record.
Our FIRAS-accredited supervisor surveys the site. Every door location is logged on Bolster with photos and a checklist.
The survey data defines each door’s rating, size, glazing and ironmongery against your fire strategy.
Certifire-assessed bench joiners build FD30, FD30/S, FD60 and FD60/S doors in a dedicated, controlled area of our workshop.
FIRAS-accredited technicians fit every door under close supervision.
A final inspection against the FIRAS scheme and British Standards, including BS 8214.
You receive a FIRAS certificate and full Bolster report: the golden thread required under the Building Safety Act.
Existing doors
Maintenance & repair
We are also FIRAS-accredited to maintain and repair existing timber fire doors. Each engagement starts with your records (the fire strategy and fire strategy drawings), then every door is photographed and assessed on Bolster to define the scope. Certified repair depends on reliable existing information, so we work with you to establish what is available before work begins.
