We were appointed to deliver the fit-out of a new spin studio within a luxury country club for The Hut Group creating a high-end, immersive environment designed around the complete rider experience.
Working alongside specialist wellness design consultancy Zynk Design, we helped translate their initial creative direction into the finished space. Zynk presented its initial concepts and supporting research to establish the aesthetic direction for the studio, before we worked collaboratively to develop the materials, finishes and practical detailing required to bring the concept to life.
Bespoke Joinery & Finishes
Bespoke joinery played a major role in both the appearance and functionality of the studio.
We manufactured and installed the stage and tiered studio floor, incorporating integrated LED lighting to define each level and contribute to the overall atmosphere of the space.
The walls were clad in fire-rated coated decorative boards, creating the dark, seamless aesthetic that runs throughout the studio. We also manufactured decorative boxing around the screens to match the surrounding wall finishes, allowing the technology to integrate naturally into the interior.
Purpose-built units were created for towel drops and hygiene stations, alongside additional joinery designed to discreetly conceal media equipment and maintain the clean, uncluttered appearance of the studio.
At the instructor position, we manufactured a bespoke control podium which conceals cabling and brings the controls for the studio's media and lighting systems together within one integrated unit.

Immersive Lighting & Technology
Creating an immersive experience was a key part of the brief.
We worked closely with Studio Tech to develop the specialist lighting design, creating a system in which the lighting can synchronise with the music and on-screen content during classes.
This coordination between lighting, sound and visuals allows the atmosphere of the studio to change throughout a session, helping create a more engaging and high-energy experience for riders.
Careful coordination between the lighting, AV, screens, electrical installations and bespoke joinery was essential. Technical equipment and cabling were incorporated discreetly wherever possible, ensuring the technology enhances the experience without detracting from the premium finish of the space.
Collaborative Delivery
The project involved close collaboration between our team, THG, Zynk Design and a number of specialist contractors and suppliers, including Imperial Electrical, Studio Tech, AVM, Forbo and Kronospan.
By coordinating the different disciplines throughout the fit-out, we were able to ensure that the architectural finishes, bespoke joinery and specialist technology worked together as one cohesive scheme.
The completed studio brings together bespoke joinery, integrated technology and considered lighting to create a functional and engaging environment for instructor-led spin sessions.
